EIGHT INITIATIVES FOR A CLEANER, BRIGHTER TOMORROW
For the past two years, leaders from China and the US have been working to build an action plan for dramatically increasing Sino-US cooperation in clean energy. With the recent agreement to create a joint Clean Energy Research Center, China and the US have taken a significant step on the road to broader cooperation.
The question now is what else should we do as part of this cooperative effort? Where are the best opportunities? What should our top priorities be? And how we can overcome the barriers that have hampered cooperation in the past? These are questions that have been addressed for the past two years by the Clean Energy Forum. Working groups, made up of experts in energy, finance, law and public policy from both countries, developed 8 initiatives designed to transform both countries’ energy systems. 携手打造更美好清洁的世界
在过去两年里，由于对改善世界上两个最大的能源系统存有共同利益，中美相关领导人一直呼吁要大大增进两国在清洁能源领域的合作。 新近签署的关于联合建立中美清洁能源研究中心，表明两国在跟近广泛合作上所做的决心。
作为中美清洁能源论坛, 应在此合作中进一步作出何种努力? 中美间最好的合作机遇在哪？合作的着重点在哪？目前，这些问题已在这个非盈利性中美联合机构得到答案。近两年来，论坛组成了中美两国来自能源、金融、法律和公共政策领域的专家联合工作组，经过多次沟通后，共同提出了在清洁能源领域中美双方可以进行实质性合作的 八点建议 (请点击)。
